He goes to Toledo Central Catholic and also had an offer from UT. That’s a recruiting win for us.

Unless the offer came from UT in the past two days, he did not have an offer from UT. I verified with Elijah what his offers were.

Pure speculation on my part, but I’m guessing his height has limited some FBS offers. Although, many OL get away with being shorter if they have longer arms and a strong striking ability to go along with the regular OL traits coaches look for. He’ll also be playing center, so not as big of an issue there.

And I figured it was his 5.6 time in the 40 as well as 235lbs. max on the bench. Hopefully those numbers are very old, especially the bench.
